Game Introduction

Fire Emblem is a tactical role-playing game developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Advance in 2003. It was the first Fire Emblem game to be released outside of Japan. The game follows the story of Lyn, Eliwood, and Hector as they journey to find Eliwood's father and combat the rising threat of the Black Fang organization. Fire Emblem is known for its strategic turn-based combat, permanent character death (permadeath), and strong narrative elements. Players must carefully position their units on a grid-based battlefield, considering terrain advantages, weapon strengths and weaknesses, and character relationships. The game features a diverse cast of characters with unique abilities and classes that can be developed and promoted throughout the campaign.
